It's our sixth year doing a Missouri River Clean-up in the Kansas City area, and we can't wait to get back!
These Kansas City events are more than just a clean-up, they are the gathering of a growing tribe of river advocates from across the state. Come and join the fun on the river!
The clean-up begins at 9:00 a.m. Volunteers are welcome, and will assemble above the boat ramp at beautiful La Benite Park in Sugar Creek, MO.
Boats from Missouri Department of Conservation, EPA, Big Muddy National Fish & Wildlife Refuge, Burns and McDonnell, Jackson County, Rivermiles and Missouri River Relief's own fleet will ferry volunteers to pre-scouted "trashy" areas of the river for clean-up.
Check out results from last year's clean-up! (pdf)
